Our goal is to fully empower children and teens on the autism spectrum (0-17 years old) who are seeking help with new abilities that can allow them more free access to what they want in their lives now and in the future. We first and foremost aim to connect with our clients so a loving and trusting relationship can flourish. We not just accept and respect their differences, we celebrate their differences. Using some aspects of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), we aim to instill the values of peace, love, non-violence, and kindness to our clients because we know that any individual without those values can potentially harm themselves or others and/or potentially experience too much anxiety, frustration, and anger.

 

Why ABA?

We use ABA to teach important values and life skills because ABA has been supported by rigorous scientific research over many years with the autistic population to increase effective, peaceful communication, social navigation, and alternative coping solutions to prevent tantrums, aggression, self-injurious habits, and many others. We all want to communicate with more love and kindness and we all want to navigate our social world with less stress and more fun to get what we want out of life. Excel at Being You LLC openly rejects many negative areas of ABA and only combines the most meaningful aspects of ABA with a WHOLE LOT OF FUN, LOVE and KINDNESS so that gaining those life skills can be as fun as possible.
